Your girl here got into her first arts and crafts fair!

If you read my last blog, the difficulty of starting out as an artist, you will understand why this is such an awesome feat.

Starting out as an artist, it can be very difficult to break ground in terms of exposure. Most of these art fairs want to see that you already have experience at shows and request evidence that you have.

Being a beginner, I haven’t been a participant in a single art show, so you can see the problem here. Thankfully, after several applications I was finally given a shot. I was selected to be a vendor at an event in Deerfield Beach, FL called Covechella, hosted by Cove Brewery. Everyone who attends will get a free beer. I think this will be interesting, hehe.
